“Over the past few months, we’ve never stopped”, says Federico Mocchetti, General Manager at NastriTex, the company leader in the production and development of textiles and technical materials for the production of compact cosmetics.
THE STRONG SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY
“Not because we underestimated the emergency, quite the contrary in fact. We kept at it in order to honor our commitment to our clients and to guarantee them the possibility to continue working. We call it a sense of responsibility, that feeling that pushes us to fulfill our commitments, even in difficult or emergency situations. Because we are aware that we are just a small, but important piece, that makes up the huge entity that is the cosmetics supply chain”.
NASTRITEX: SAFETY AND WELL-BEING ARE OUR PRIORITIES
For NastriTex, the continuation of operations was guaranteed without disregarding the safety and well-being of our its employees and collaborators. Even before the governmental regulations were introduced, NastriTex had adopted a safe and efficient work process based on two work “teams” that alternated shifts, in order to guarantee social distance requirements and reduce contact between staff. Immediately, the company supplied its employees with masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer and had some departments change to smart-working (working from home). A system that allowed the company to continue to work safely and guarantee precise and punctual service for its clients.
A RELIABLE PARTNER, ALWAYS
“These last months, everything has become more complicated, also because the pandemic spread in various countries at different rates, causing a true domino effect”, comments Elisabetta Albizzati, Export Manager.
“Starting from China which stopped completely while the rest of the world continued to work, the lockdown then affected Italy and Europe while the USA and Japan continued their operations.
Today, we find ourselves in the opposite situation. China and Italy have restarted, while the USA, a strategic market for Made in Italy cosmetics, is still in the midst of it. However, in order to meet the demands of clients in various parts of the world, we decided to continue our operations. With one priority: our safety and the safety of our collaborators”.
Even if planning, deadlines, and schedules have all been cast aside and the focus has shifted to day-to-day work, NastriTex, as always, is fully operative. And it’s ready to satisfy the needs of its clients by following a philosophy that has set them apart for 40 years: “to be a reliable partner, always”.
