Developing functional packaging with a contemporary and captivating design that captures the essence of beauty is the mission of Baralan, a company that has been operating in the primary cosmetic packaging sector since 1962, acting as an ambassador of style and Made in Italy design; Baralan is launching two new bottles lines dedicated to the world of make-up and skincare: Jennifer and Ingrid. Despite being different, the two lines stay true to the company’s distinctive traits: quality, functionality, and elegance.
“In Baralan, we firmly believe that packaging is an expression of a brand’s identity, and it is the consumer’s first impression,” commented Maurizio Ficcadenti, Global R&D Manager for Baralan. “Our team considered this approach in developing the design for the new Jennifer and Ingrid lines, to offer brands the possibility to enhance and diversify their product offerings”.
JENNIFER AND J-RING, FUNCTIONAL INNOVATION
It is refined yet, at the same time, extremely functional, thanks to the innovative J-Ring collar: we’re talking about Jennifer, the first of Baralan’s newest launches. Jennifer is a line comprised of two glass bottles, Jennifer 15 and Jennifer 12, of 15mL and 12mL, respectively, combined with the innovative J-Ring accessory. Characterized by an original design in both style and function, both bottles feature a double shoulder, smaller ones surrounding the neck, and a GPI 15 neck size.
To improve consumer experience and provide a maximum level of neatness, Baralan introduced an innovative accessory called the J-Ring, patented by the company, which significantly decreases the likelihood of polish or other products coming into contact with any user during and after application. The J-Ring is available in various colors to match different nail polish hues and can also be produced with a metalized finish to enhance the product’s final aesthetic appeal.
“With the Jennifer line, we have included the new J-Ring accessory which we hope will resonate with brands and consumers alike thanks to its functional feature, which is useful for avoiding user contact with any product residue”, explains Ficcadenti.

INGRID, VERSATILE AND ELEGANT
Another new product that will enhance Baralan’s portfolio is Ingrid: the line of sleek and elegant glass bottles ideal for nail polish, essential oils, and makeup. Ingrid consists of two bottles with the same shape but in different sizes, with a GPI 13 neck size. The larger bottle with a nominal capacity of 15ml is lighter and slimmer: while the second, which is smaller, features a thicker glass-bottom designed to add elegance to the design. It is possible to combine the Ingrid line with any neck 13 accessories, including several Baralan caps and overcaps, including the new Luo 13 overcap specifically designed to match the set’s distinct style.
