Aquaxtrem (Rheum rhaponticum), works on keratinocytes activating PPARγ (peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma); stimulates the skin’s natural hydration mechanisms, increases the resistance and cohesion of the stratum corneum, normalizes desquamation.
- Agascalm (Agastache mexicana), adjusts the biochemical mechanisms that link psychological stress and the skin. Prevents and reduces stress-induced skin inflammation and redness.

Provital’s active ingredients and extracts are distributed in Italy by Faravelli Cosmetic Division, the youngest division of Faravelli SPA. Since 1926, the company has been distributing ingredients and raw materials for the food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, animal nutrition, and industrial chemical sectors.
The cosmetic division offers a wide range of natural viscosifiers, moisturizers, and antioxidants: from basic ingredients to functional pigments, from active ingredients derived using biotechnological techniques to those obtained from vegetable extraction, and from silicone specialty products to oils, butters, and scrubs (vegetable, mineral, and others) that are ECOCERT-certified.
The Faravelli Cosmetic Division is characterized by the wide variety of ingredients that it offers and its constant R&D activity, thanks to an internal Application Laboratory. Prototypes are developed here, as well as formulations using raw materials and ingredients in collaboration with various partners.
