The new headquarters of the Decorluxe Group, a reference industrial hub of excellence in luxury packaging manufacturing for cosmetics, perfumery, and wine & spirits, has been up and running for several weeks now. It was founded in 2022 and is backed by Ethica Global Investments S.p.A.
Following the 2023 installation of a new coating line and a UV sputtering line aimed at boosting presence in the wine & spirits sector and meeting growing luxury market demands in cosmetics and fragrances, with their new Plant 81 in Chiuduno (Bergamo), the Group is marking yet another step forward in their ambitious growth and development plan.
The new plant, which joins existing facilities bringing the total number of production lines to 113, spans an area of 7,000 square meters, features five new setups, including one exclusively dedicated to prototyping, and has a production capacity of 120 million plastic pieces and 100 million glass pieces.
Designed according to the highest standards of quality and sustainability, from the use of renewable energy sources to energy-efficient processes and structures, the new Chiuduno headquarters reflects the Group’s ‘human-centered’ approach and ethical philosophy. For Decorluxe Group, economic growth cannot be separated from social and environmental progress, rather, research and innovation are considered to be the driving forces behind the transition to a sustainable industry, one that is always focused on people. It’s a philosophy that is further confirmed in the concept of “ethical business”: in designing the new headquarters, not only environmental aspects were considered, but maximum attention was given towards guaranteeing both physical and psychological health and wellbeing of all employees.

AMBITIOUS GOALS
For the Decorluxe Group, which boasts a daily production capacity now exceeding 2,210,000 pieces and a 2024 turnover of over €50 million, a new “era” is emerging, defined by ambitious numbers and challenges.
“The new headquarters, Plant 81 in Chiuduno, is an open door to the future. It’s an important investment for an ambitious goal: to extend our ‘full-service’ decoration concept across all companies within the Group, making it a hallmark of Made in Italy. Building on this unique aspect, in the coming year, we’re looking not only to consolidate our leadership position in the Italian market but also towards expansion into key EU markets and eventually into markets beyond the EU where important potential for growth exists,” comments Claudio Mottini, CEO of Decorluxe Group.
Thanks to the new Chiuduno plant, which joins existing sites in Grassobbio, Milan, Cassano d’Adda, Carate Brianza, and Brivio (LC), along with logistics hubs in Bergamo and Milan, the Group’s already record-setting manufacturing numbers (coating 490,000 pieces/day, UV sputtering 440,000 pieces/day, glass decoration 140,000 pieces/day, sublimation printing 10,000 pieces/day, thermal metallization of glass bottles 30,000 pieces/day, and 1,100,000 pieces/day for plastic pad printing, hot stamping, and screen printing) may soon be surpassed.
